STAGE 1
During the process of this stage, leaders are given a
period of time (minimum period of 6 months) to practice the skills and
knowledge learnt in their respective units. A compiled report of 6
activities is to be submitted to the Singapore Training Team for
assessment. This process aims to allow leaders to reflect upon the training
received and the transfer of training at units and is developmental in
nature.

STAGE 2
At this stage, an assessor will be assigned by the
National Training Commissioner to visit the school and observe the scout
unit in action. The purpose of this visit is developmental in nature. The
assessor will provide additional guidance and information to leaders
should the need arises.

STAGE 3
At this stage, leaders will undergo an interview session
with the National Training Commissioner. This session aims at reflecting
on the learning experiences that leaders have acquired. Upon successful
completion of this stage, leaders will be awarded a "Woodbadge"
(2 pieces of wood beads tied to a leather thong and is worn around the
neck) - a symbolic representation for the completion of training, and the
leaders will be deemed to be a qualified adult leader to run scout units
in Singapore.
