Adventure Challenge
Land, sea, and even air activities will be carried out, challenging and honing the adventurous Scouts. A vital portion of the games will be teamwork, allowing Scouts to bond and forge strong friendships.
Survival Skills
Scouts will have the opportunity to engage in challenging activities to learn attributes such as teamwork, determination and resilience – attributes which are critical for survival in an increasingly inter-connected and rapidly changing modern world.
Global and Cultural Villages
Global and Cultural issues will be discussed, in line with the multi-racial composition of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Scouts will have the chance to learn about other traditions and cultures in the world and thus gain a better understanding of global issues.
Home Hospitality
Scouts will be offered the opportunity to live in a local environment, experiencing the Singaporean way of life – the food, the traditions, the hospitality etc. Having a unique culture of its own, experiencing life first-hand in Singapore will definitely be an eye-opener to the Scouts.
Educational Tours
Visits will be held to places of interests in Singapore, from the culturally-rich to the educationally-rich. From laboratory visits to museum tours, the Scouts will gain knowledge on various aspects. A course on environmental conservation will also be held, shaping Scouts into a friend of nature.
Expeditions
Expeditions will be carried out to neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia, where the Scouts may experience the tropical rainforest in a pristine, untouched state.
Sub Camp Activities
A Scout Jamboree can never be complete without the wonderful mix of campfire activities such as singing, building a bonfire, playing games and enjoying one another’s company.
